Cookies and privacy choices
Browser storage, optional analytics and masked recordings, and how to change your choice.
Last updated: 10 October 2026
Your choice comes first
This website uses browser storage to remember your privacy preferences. Optional PostHog analytics and masked recordings start only when available and you accept both. We request a new choice for recordings, including from visitors who previously accepted analytics alone. Accepting and rejecting are equally accessible, and rejecting does not restrict access to the site.
If the PostHog service is not configured, no analytics or recording code is loaded and no consent banner appears automatically. Cookie settings in the footer explains when these features are inactive.
Storage used on this website
arlentic:analytics-consent: a first-party localStorage entry that remembers whether you accept or reject analytics and recordings, together with the choice date and policy version. It is used only to apply your privacy choice and expires after 183 days. It is checked and cleared when you next use the site after expiry. Clearing website data in your browser also removes it.
arlentic:posthog-consent: a first-party localStorage consent marker used by the analytics software after acceptance. It records permission, not your browsing history. It is removed when you withdraw consent or when your saved choice expires and the site next checks it.
After you accept both features, PostHog uses the sessionStorage entries ph_arlentic, ph_arlentic_window_id, ph_arlentic_primary_window_exists and ph_arlentic_session_registered_properties for temporary visitor, session and window identifiers and recording state. They link events and recordings across pages and reloads within a browser tab. The entries normally end when the tab closes, although a browser may restore them when restoring a browsing session. We clear them when consent is withdrawn, expires or becomes invalid, and when a supported privacy signal blocks collection. When needed, an additional sessionStorage entry beginning ph_replay_pending_buffer_ temporarily holds masked replay data for continuation on the next page in the same tab. It is removed when restored by that page or during consent cleanup; otherwise, the same tab-lifetime and browser-restoration conditions apply. The integration does not use analytics cookies or save these visitor identifiers in localStorage.
What analytics and recordings capture
PostHog Cloud EU receives page-view events and contact-link clicks. These include the canonical public page URL, path and hostname, language, contact-link category where relevant, temporary visitor and session identifiers and basic technical metadata. We use them to understand website use and improve our content.
With your consent, masked session replay reconstructs the website from page structure and layout changes, viewport dimensions, pointer movements, clicks and scrolling. It does not make a literal screen video. Text and input content are masked before transmission. Contact areas and links, forms, audio, video, embedded frames and canvas content are excluded; console and network recording are disabled. Masking can reduce how faithfully the website appears in a replay.
Advertising tracking and person profiles remain disabled. URL query strings, fragments, referrers and the contents of your messages are excluded. Network infrastructure still processes source IP addresses when requests are delivered. Masked recordings are not guaranteed to be anonymous.
The service uses PostHog’s EU endpoint, https://eu.i.posthog.com. EU hosting alone does not rule out every international processing operation. The privacy policy explains recipients, safeguards, retention and your rights.
Change or withdraw your choice
Open Cookie settings in the footer to accept or reject analytics and recordings at any time. Withdrawing consent stops future collection and recording, clears the analytics permission marker and tab identifiers, and discards the active analytics state. Requests already transmitted cannot be recalled. Withdrawal does not automatically delete events or recordings already received by the provider; contact hi@arlentic.com to exercise your data protection rights.
We ask again after the saved choice expires or when a material change requires fresh consent. You can also clear website storage in your browser. If browser storage is blocked, your choice may not persist between pages or visits.
Website delivery and contact
Cloudflare processes technical requests needed to deliver and protect the website. This is separate from optional analytics and recordings. External websites you choose to visit have their own storage and privacy practices.
The website operator is Francisco Jesus de Monasterio Oestreicher, NIF 06714356N, Calle de Valderribas 6, 28007 Madrid, Spain. For questions, email hi@arlentic.com. Last updated: 10 October 2026.
