How Arlentic handles website visits, enquiries, optional analytics and masked session recordings.

Who is responsible for your data?
Arlentic is operated by Francisco Jesus de Monasterio Oestreicher, NIF 06714356N, at Calle de Valderribas 6, 28007 Madrid, Spain. This is the controller responsible for the personal data described here.
For privacy requests, email hi@arlentic.com or write to the address above. Our contact number is +1 786 558 3512.
When you browse the website
Cloudflare hosts and delivers this website. Serving pages and protecting the service involves processing technical request information, which can include your IP address, request time, requested address, browser information and security logs.
This processing serves our legitimate interests in delivering a reliable website, preventing abuse and diagnosing technical problems under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. We do not require an account to browse the site.
When you contact us
Email and telephone links open your own email or calling application. The website does not provide a contact form or newsletter subscription. If you contact us, we receive the contact details and information you choose to share, such as your name, email address, company and project requirements.
We use that information to answer your request and discuss the services you ask about. Taking steps towards a contract at your request relies on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Other relevant business correspondence may rely on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and managing professional relationships under Article 6(1)(f).
Providing these details is voluntary. Without a way to contact you or enough information about your request, we may be unable to respond. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for your enquiry.
Optional analytics and session recordings
We use optional PostHog Cloud EU analytics and masked session recordings to understand website use and improve navigation. They start only when available and you expressly accept both in the consent notice. Consent previously given for analytics alone does not enable recordings: we ask you to choose again. You can browse and contact us without accepting.
With your consent, we measure page views and clicks on contact links to understand which content is useful. Events contain the canonical public page URL, path and hostname, language, contact-link category where applicable, temporary random visitor and session identifiers and basic technical metadata. We exclude URL query strings, URL fragments and referral information, and do not send the contents of emails or telephone conversations.
With the same consent, session replay reconstructs this website from changes to its page structure, viewport size, pointer movements, clicks and scrolling. It is not a literal screen video and does not record other websites, your email application or telephone conversations. Page text and input content are masked before transmission. Contact areas and links, forms, audio, video, embedded frames and canvas content are excluded, as are console logs and network request contents.
Temporary identifiers are stored only after consent in sessionStorage so page views and recordings can be linked across pages within a browser tab. They normally last until the tab closes, subject to browser session restoration, and are cleared when consent is withdrawn or expires. We do not create person profiles or enable advertising tracking. Masking and temporary identifiers do not make recordings completely anonymous: network providers can receive your source IP address while handling a request.
The legal basis for analytics and recordings is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Use Cookie settings in the footer to withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal stops future analytics and recording and does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
Who receives data and where it is processed
Service providers receive the information needed to deliver their services: Cloudflare for hosting, delivery and security; our email and communications providers for enquiries; and PostHog when you accept available analytics and recordings. Information may also be disclosed when a legal obligation requires it or when necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
The analytics integration uses PostHog’s EU endpoint. Hosting and communications providers operate internationally, so choosing an EU analytics region does not mean that every processing activity takes place only in the European Economic Area. Applicable safeguards for international transfers may include an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. Contact hi@arlentic.com for information about the safeguards applicable to your data or to request a copy.
How long information is kept
We keep enquiry correspondence while it is needed to handle the request and any resulting professional relationship. Afterwards, information is deleted or restricted to what must be retained for applicable legal obligations or the establishment, exercise or defence of claims. The relevant obligation, type of correspondence and applicable limitation period determine that retention.
Technical logs are retained for the period needed to operate, protect and troubleshoot the service, subject to the hosting provider’s configured retention. When enabled, analytics events and session recordings are retained according to the respective PostHog project retention settings and our need to assess website use and usability. Contact us for the retention settings applying to your data.
Your browser remembers your privacy choice for up to 183 days. This preference period is separate from the retention of events or recordings already received by PostHog.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal data and, where applicable, data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your situation and withdraw consent whenever consent is the legal basis.
Email hi@arlentic.com with your request. We may ask for proportionate information to verify your identity when necessary. We normally respond within one month; if a lawful extension is needed because of the complexity or number of requests, we will explain it within that month.
You may complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency at https://www.aepd.es or to the supervisory authority in the EU country where you normally live or work, or where you believe an infringement occurred. You do not have to contact us before lodging a complaint about our processing.
Scope and updates
This policy covers arlentic.com. External websites and the applications you use to email or call us have their own privacy information. We do not make automated decisions about you that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
